We can’t quite believe we’re saying this, but today marks our 24th anniversary as a business.

In those 24 years we’ve been privileged to work with so many exceptional people that work towards the greater good – people like Vincent Kompany and his Tackle4MCR campaign to end homelessness in Manchester, Ged King and Skullfades - cutting hair and changing lives, and Sanjay Bhandari who’s made it his life’s mission to eradicate discrimination in football.

One of the main things, however, that’s helped mould us into the agency we are today is our Roland Dransfield Way – 15 principles that always steer us in the right direction and make sure we’re doing the best for ourselves and the company.

One of the team’s favourite principles is number 15 – Plant Trees You’ll Never See.

Having seen it been done before during our 24 years in the city, we know the importance of creating a legacy, and making your tiny part of the world better for those who follow.

To that end, we’ve decided to mark our 24th anniversary by celebrating those unsung heroes who continuously plant trees, but may not get the kudos or recognition that they deserve. There have been some incredible examples of how individuals have been planting trees over the last few months in particular.

Over on social we’ve launched our #RD24 campaign, calling for people to nominate individuals who deserve to be celebrated for the work they’re doing in making the world a better place – no matter how big or small.

On Friday 31st, we’ll be choosing our top 24 nominees, and we’ll be planting 24 trees for them in Greater Manchester to honour their drive, spirit, and selflessness.

If you’d like to get involved, just head over to our Twitter page and tweet us your nomination with the hashtag #RD24. We can’t wait to hear all of the amazing stories that will be told, and to celebrate those who deserve it most.

It’s been a wonderful 24 years, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds.
