Roland Dransfield is supporting the Big Change Fund campaign in Manchester to help the homeless.

The Big Change Fund was launched last year with the aim to help rough sleepers get off – and stay off – the streets.

Following the lead of NJL consulting, we’re encouraging our clients and other Manchester businesses to put their hand in their pockets to help keep rough sleepers off the streets.

Any small change can make a big difference and we fully support the great work Big Change Manchester are doing. The fund is administered by Manchester City Council, along with the Big Change Steering Group. So far they have raised over £5,500. All money donated to the fund will be used to provide homeless people with the practical items they need to build a new life off the street and become a permanent part of the community.

Managing director of NJL, Nick Lee said: “As a grassroots planning and development consultancy based near Manchester Airport, we are supporting the Big Change campaign as they are delivering just that – tangible ‘big change’ on the ground in their support for homeless people.

“Working in the property industry, we recognise the severity of the housing crisis and wanted to find a way to help people most affected.

“Big Change MCR is a fantastic charity and we would urge others to get involved.”
