Alex Bell has been appointed as head of media at Roland Dransfield PR after almost eight years at the Manchester Evening News.
The 30-year-old, a former business journalist for the past three years at both the MEN and Greater Manchester Business Week, will oversee the creation of all editorial-led content whilst also managing a number of client accounts.
Before joining Roland Dransfield Alex had also spent five years as a crime reporter at the Trinity Mirror-owned MEN.
As head of media he will report to managing director Lisa Morton and associate director Caroline Aspinall.
